Marjorie + Rodney Wedding Anniversary

Still madly in love ten years later…I'm excited to share this beautiful wedding anniversary event. My brother-in-law, Rodney, surprised my sister, Marjorie, a wedding anniversary ceremony here at The Lake Club -  Lake Las Vegas, Nevada and the best part was I get to help them plan all the lovely details. Marjorie and Rodney got married at a courthouse so this anniversary surprise was something special to share with close friends and family. Their wedding photographer, Elizabeth Le Photography, help capture this sweet celebration.

To save a little cash on wedding programs, I wanted to create a DIY vintage chalkboard which was displayed at the front of the ceremony. This piece of art was hanging from my old home office and I thought it would be a great idea to turn it into a cute wedding board for my sister.

As an alternative idea to the traditional guest book, I created a hand-lettered monogram chalkboard picture frame. If you want to make one, you can click here to read more about this lovely DIY project. 

Rodney's talented sister, Kelley from K's Sugar & Spice, spent loooong hours baking this amazing cake below! It was also delicious! Love is Sweet print was hand-lettered by me. You can download this 8x10 printable free for personal use here. Simply add your initials to the bottom of the print. 

Another DIY hand-lettered sign below was inspired from Pinterest. 

More DIY projects below were handmade with love and care. Marjorie wanted her colors to be pretty in pink with soft sophistication so my sister, Mona, made the beautiful bouquets to match her romantic style. The charming floral pieces are from Hobby Lobby.
