Self-Portrait

I'm finally getting use to my pen tablet and the amazing stylus. Above is something fun of a simple self-portrait of me using Wacom Bamboo. Bamboo can work with wonders but also I love to create in traditional techniques. Some materials that I love working with are pencil, pen, watercolor, pastels and now...Wacom Bamboo and the amazing stylus. It's all about practice, practice, practice!

Fun heart alphabets of "Love" font by Thomas Fuchs for this Tuesday morning.

Puffed Pancakes for Valentine's Day

Puffed Pancakes
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cup of flour
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla
dash of salt
dash of cinnamon

1. Melt butter in pan in oven while it is preheating.
2. Whisk all ingredients together in bowl, pour into pan with melted butter and move to oven.
3. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes or until the pancake has risen and is firm. Serve right away with fruit, syrup, powdered sugar or whatever you want!

Pancake image was from Rockstar Diaries and it just looked so delicious. Recipe provided by Naomi Megan. This would be such a sweet breakfast meal for Valentine's Day. Will be making this soon. Happy Monday everyone!
